Pop-up

Published by empress under Uncategorized Edit This

One of my classes this semester, which is entitled Layout and Design II, is a “paper engineering”class. (In other words, we make pop-up cards.) It’s only been two weeks, and I’m already tired of it. I can’t imagine doing an entire semester of this.

In any event, the book the professor is using isn’t required. She just gives us Xerox copies of the assignments in the book. But the copies are so difficult to see, and you can barely tell what the finished product is going to look like. We started more complicated (and maddening)  cuts today, and I decided that to get through the class I’d have to break down and buy the book. Thus, I just placed the order with Amazon.com.

…still can’t believe that I have an entire class dedicated just to paper folding…
